Rachel Jones

I have always had a strong interest in health and fitness from an early age through my love of dancing. I worked on board cruise ships as a professional Dancer for 8 years.

During my years of travelling I knew that my love of fitness and working with people that I wanted a future within the fitness industry to compliment my continuing career within the dancing profession.

So I completed my level 2 and 3 Personal Training qualification which I thoroughly enjoyed. 2015 saw me move to Dubai on short working contract where my journey into Fitness really began. I began doing small group sessions and personal training around the complex where I lived, it was hugely rewarding to see the results from my clients even after a couple of weeks I knew I had chosen the right path.

My return to the UK in 2016 I opened Alive Dance School teaching lots of different classes to children age 3-16. I continued to run Bootcamps and personal training for my older clients and in 2018 it had grown so much that along with the team we decided to open Alive Fitness and have never looked back. It was by far the best decision to make and I love our Alive Fitness Family.

Working with people and creating a something positive is something I will shall never tire of. Seeing people come together from all walks of life, supporting one another and enjoy themselves is one of life’s greatest pleasures. This is why I enjoy this facility so much.

I have always enjoyed challenging myself in every aspect of life, long and short term goals are something I have always worked towards.

Having always had a strong interest in sports I decided to join this industry by completing my level 2 and 3 personal training qualifications in order to gain the knowledge and science behind it all. By passing this knowledge on to others creating challenging (and sometimes gruelling!) work outs on a daily basis is something I enjoy.

The biggest enjoyment of all comes from watching and being inspired by others work, determination and commitment in order for them to achieve their personal objectives.

My belief is helping people achieve their physical goals. Weather its to improve fitness, get stronger, improve movement or rehabilitation.

I have come from a sporting background mainly in football. Achieving an undergraduate and MPhil degree in Sport & Exercise Science at LJMU. From my time at University I have gained employment at a Premier League Academy as a Sport Science/Strength and Conditioning Coach.

I have been there now for 5 years loving every minute working with the player’s to maximise their physical development. I have now become more settled and confident in my practices, I have taken upon myself to venture out the world of football and practice my skills within the world of fitness.

Whether it be different sports, or general health and rehab. The team down at Alive fitness have been so welcoming and I have loved every session I have taken. I can’t wait to carry on my work with the team.

My name is Sean; I have been in the fitness industry since 2017. Health and fitness has always been a great passion of mine. I love helping people become better versions of themselves, whether that is mentally or physically.

My classes and training styles are orientated around my main focus, strength and conditioning. If you liked to be pushed to your limit and up for a challenge, then come along. Anyone and everyone is welcome!
