I have always had a strong interest in health and fitness from an early age through my love of dancing. I progressed to work onboard cruise ships as a professional Dancer for 10 years.

During my years of travelling I knew that my love of fitness and working with people that I wanted a future within the fitness industry to compliment my continuing career within the dancing profession.

So I completed my level 2 and 3 Personal Training qualification which I thoroughly enjoyed. 2015 saw me move to Dubai on short working contract where my journey into Fitness really began. I began doing small group sessions and personal training around the complex where I lived, it was hugely rewarding to see the results from my clients even after a couple of weeks I knew I had chosen the right path.

Upon my return to the UK in 2016 I opened Alive Dance School teaching lots of different classes to children age 3-16. I continued to run Bootcamps and personal training for my older clients and in 2018 it had grown so much that along with the team we decided to open Alive Fitness and have never looked back.

I have since got married, started a Family and learnt and experienced the journey the female body goes through pregnancy and postpartum. I now look to help and support others with their journey throughout this also.

I am proud of everyone within the Alive Family both new and old for working hard, achieving and supporting each other everyday!

Working with people, creating and organising projects is something I will shall never tire of. Witnessing people come together from all walks of life, supporting one another and enjoying themselves is just the inspiration you need to keep on going. This is why I enjoy this facility so much.

I have always enjoyed challenging myself in every aspect of life, long and short term goals are something I have always worked towards.

At Alive Fitness we try our hardest to ensure people’s fitness journey is challenging yet rewarding and ultimately enjoyable for everyone.
It is amazing what exercise does for your health and well-being and I always ask myself ‘why would anyone deprive themselves of that feeling you get post workout?’…there is nothing better!

The biggest enjoyment of all comes from watching and being inspired by others drive, determination and commitment in order for them to achieve their personal objectives.

Sport and fitness have been a large part of my life for as long as I can remember! With Marathon running being my main focus. Since adding gym classes to my marathon training I have been astounded by the results and keen to help others on their fitness journey!

Marathon running has been my passion over the years and last year with the addition of regular functional fitness and structured gym sessions I self-coached myself to a 2:54 London Marathon and an 80 minute Great North Run. I sincerely believe in this model of hybrid fitness and the benefits of a varied training programme!

I understand the demands of busy professional and family life but also the importance of exercise for your own physical and mental health. With my marathon days coming to an end, I wanted to give something back so I decided to qualify as a Level 2 Gym Instructor, a Level 3 Personal Trainer and an Official Hyrox Coach. I have a genuine passion for helping people and personal development!

My classes and personal training are totally inclusive regardless of age or ability - each person’s fitness is unique to them! Having attended classes for a few years I am in a unique position having been stood both sides of the studio - you are just as likely to find me as your partner for an AMRAP class as you are actually taking the session!

I have two training philosophies which have served me well over the years. The first one is ‘consistency is key’, the second one is ‘enjoy the process’. Wherever you are up to with your own fitness journey if you adhere to both basic principles you won’t go far wrong!
